4 The dov etail mounting plate now connected to the Shor tT ube 80-A connects to the equatorial mount’s dov etail holder . The dov etail holder has two secur ing knobs to keep the dov etail plate securely in place. Be sure to loosen these two knobs prior to attaching the telescope.

If it isn’t, repeat the entire process, making sure not to mov e the main telescope while adjusting the alignment of the finder scope.
