Replacing the EZ Finder II Battery Replacement 3-volt lithium batteries f or the EZ Finder II are av ailable from man y retail outlets. Remov e the old batter y by inser ting a small flat-head screwdriv er into the slot on the bat- ter y casing (Figure 4) and gently pr ying open the case.
T o see what you ’ re doing in the darkness, use a red-filtered flashlight rather than a white light. Red light does not spoil your e yes ’ dark adaptation like white light does . A flashlight with a red LED light is ideal, or you can co ver the front of a regular incandescent flashlight with red cellophane or paper .

Bef ore cleaning with fluid and tissue , blow an y loose par ticles off the lens with a blo wer bulb or compressed air . Then apply some cleaning fluid to a tissue, ne ver directly on the optics . Wipe the lens gently in a circular motion, then remov e any e xcess fluid with a fresh lens tissue.
