5 5 Focusing the T elescope With the 25mm ey epiece securely inser ted into the correct- image diagonal, aim the optical tube so the front (open) end is pointing in the general direction of an object at least 1/4 mile aw ay . With y our fingers, slowly rotate the f ocus wheel until the object comes into shar p f ocus.
6 Y our Aristocrat 60mm comes with a 25mm focal length Plössl ey epiece that provides 36x magnification. The Aristocrat can accept any 1.25" e yepiece (the most common ey epiece bar - rell diameter). Orion also makes se veral br ass eyepieces that will provide diff erent magnifications for y our Aristocrat 60mm.
