The GoT o Hand Contr oller Once aligned, the GoT o hand controller and dual-axis GoT o motors allow you to automatically point y our SkyView Pro mounted telescope at a specific object, or tour the skies with pushbutton simplicity . If the GoT o hand contoller puts the star outside the eyepiece field of view , you need to determine which of these f actors is causing the pointing inaccur acy . T o deter mine if the inaccuracy is caused by “cone” error , simply mov e the telescope about the R.
17 Note: This calibration method can be applied to both refract - ing and reflecting telescope designs. Diff erences in the optical path of telescopes do not affect how the telescope tube and tube rings should be adjusted on the mounting plate. Figure 20.
