11 Your Telephone Operations Switching on/off Press and hold the END button for more than 2 secondstoswitchon/offthehandsetinstandbymode. You can switch the handset off and save battery charge.
12 4 . Press BACK/CLEAR key to delete the charactersonebyone. Enter the new name (maximum 10 characters) and press OK key to confirm. A confirmation beep is played. Change the display language 1.
13 Answer and end a call 1. Whenthephonerings,press TALK key. 2. Toendaconversation,press END button. When the handset rings during an incoming call, please do not hold the handset too close to your ear as the volume of the ringing tone may damage your hearing.

22 The outgoing message The model is supplied with two predefined outgoing messages(OGM)usedforthedifferentanswermodes. There are 2 answer modes available: Answer Only andAnswer&Record. By default, the answer mode is ANSW.
23 ANSWERING MAChINE OPERA TION BY hANdSET (ECO710 ONL Y) Record a per sonaliz ed outgoing message • You can choose to replace the predefined OGM with your own pre-recorded personalized messages. 1. Press the MENU keytoentermenuselection.
24 Using the intercom Intercom, call transfer and conference are only possible with at least 2 handset registered to the samebasestation.
