I) Quick Start T urning the Camera On Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds (one beeping sound). The LCD screen will show the remaining time and the LED will be green. T aking Video Footage 1. Aim at what you want to record. 2. Press and hold the 'Movie shutter button' for 2 seconds to start recording (one beeping sound).

5 6 VI) Camera Mounting Description The camera can be mounted in a number of ways using the straps and the velcro patch provided. Please follow the methods of mounting as suggested below: Fixing the position of the camera a) W ith the base of the camera facing you, turn the clip clockwise to tighten its position.
7 Remote Control Battery Installation The battery compartment is located on the underside of the controller . Use a coin to twist the cap lock anti-clockwise then lift the cover off. Insert the battery ensuring the negative polarity direction is placed on the metal prong.
9 10 VIII) Menu Settings 1. Press and hold the Menu button for 2 seconds (one beeping sound) to start selecting options.The menu icons will be shown on the LCD screen. Please refer to the table below for the icon details. 2. Y ou can shift through different shooting modes by pressing the Menu button repeatedly .
11 12 Resolution 640 x 480, 320 x 240 pixels resolution This camera allows you to choose from two video resolutions: 640 x 480 and 320 x 240. These will be shown as 640 - high resolution and 320 - low resolution. High resolution video footage has better quality because it has more pixels.

17 18 6. Select W inV ista_32bit then click “OK”. 7. Ensure the path name is correct then click “Next”. 8. When the W indows Security pop up window appears click “Install this software anyway” to continue installing. 9. Congratulations the device is successfully installed.
19 20 4. On the next window select “W inXP” then click “OK”. 5. Ensure the path name is correct and then click “Next”. 6. The next pop-up window will inform you that our camera has not passed W indows Logo T esting to verify its compatibility with W indows XP .
21 22 2. Select “Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that I can choose a specific driver”. 3. On the next window select “Other devices” then click “Next”. 4. On the next window click “Have Disk” then select the CD drive.

Repeat the above steps until that has been installed. 12. When in the W in2000 folder in the CD remember to select OSV id, not OSUsb.
25 26 XII) Playing back video footage on a TV 1. T urn the A TC5K and TV off. 2. Connect your A TC5K to your TV using the A V cable. 3. T urn the TV and A TC5K on. 4. There are 2 modes available, Playback (PB) and V iewfinder (VF) . 5. “PB” appears on the LCD screen as default.
