2 W elcome Thank you f or purchasing the orbitsound M12 spatial ster eo soundbar with wireless subwoof er and Bluetooth. With proper use the orbitsound M12 delivers superb sound fidelity , engaging spatial ster eo sound, and will pro vide you with a fantastic listening experience.

5 Getting Star ted Set up - Connect, pow er on, check subwoofer v olume POWER ON OFF 100V-240V~ SUBWOOFER VOLUME WIRELESS NORMAL MAX MIN PAIR PAIRING PROCEDURE: Before you start: Long press the PAIR button on subwoofer(s) to reset. WARNING - this will cancel previous pairing.
6 A) Connect the Soundbar to y our TV 1) Remove plastic co vers from optical cable: IMPORT ANT: Remov e the protec tive plastic c overs fr om a new TOSLINK (optical) cable before connecting to the optical sockets . F ailure to remove these c ov ers may result in damage and will in terrupt the sound output.
7 2) (OPTION) If your T V does not have an optical output: HDMI IN 1 HDMI IN 2 VIDEO IN AUDIO IN DVI AUDIO IN TV CONNECTION PANEL AUDIO OUT Use the included RCA cable to connect the audio output from your T V to the soundbar . Note: Some T Vs may only have a 3.

10 Advanced Setup & Use The orbitsound M12 is easy to set up and enjoy , but even better sound may be achieved by f ollowing these guidelines. P ositioning - getting the most fr om spatial stereo The spatial ster eo sound eld is produced by the speakers in the sides of the soundbar .
11 IMPORT ANT: Alw ay s make sure tha t the subwoof er’ s side with a por t (rear) is clear from obstruction. Cov ering this p ort will adversely aect the sound. Subw oofer v olume The subwoof er volume control on the back of the subwoof er allows y ou to preset the amount of bass that the system pr oduces.
12 1 2 1. Use a paperclip to briey pr ess the ‘P AIR ’ button on the soundbar rear panel. 2. The soundbar P AIR status light will ash on the soundbar and woofer . This acknowledges that the channel has changed. There ar e a total of 10 channels.
13 1. Long press the sub woof er pair button (this erases any pr evious pairing). The subwoof er ST A TUS will ash conrmation. 2. Long press the soundbar pair butt on to enter pairing mode . The soundbar pairing ST A TUS will slow ash to show it has ent ered pairing mode.
14 Setting memor y When in standby mode, or if disc onnected from the mains completely , the soundbar will remember settings for pairing , bass, tr eble, volume and sour ce selection. Note that the volume will be reduced if set v ery high when the unit restar ts to protect the listener .
15 Maintenance Cleaning and car e Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with plain, luke-warm water to clean the exterior of the unit. Glass cleaner is a good way to r emove nger marks , but please use it sparingly , and avoid c ontact with the actual loudspeaker driver units.
16 T r oubleshooting No sound is heard • Check power connections and that there is a c ontinuous blue light on contr ol panel. • Check that the T V or other sound source is playing and tha t it is connected properly to the soundbar . If unsure that your media device is pla ying, unplug , and test with headphones.
17 • T urn up the output volume of music source to compensat e. • Use the digital optical ( TOSLINK) inputs if possible to reduce noise . Digital optical issues: ‘Clicking’ or no sound • Connect the T V optical output to the soundbar optical input prefer entially .
18 Orbitsound W ar ranty This Orbitsound product is supplied with a 24 month limited manufacturer’ s warranty dated from new pur chase date. This warranty cov ers repairs or replac ement that may be requir ed in the event of unit failur e during normal use, subject to the terms and conditions stated belo w and at the Agent’ s discretion.
