6 Using AC Power You can power y our Con ce rtmate 410 from a standard A C outlet using a 9- volt AC adapter (not supplied), such as RadioShack Cat. No. 273-165 0 or 273- 1662. Cautio ns: • Y ou mu st use an AC ada pter that supplies 9 vo lts, and delivers at least 300 m illi amps .
7 1. Plug the 5.5 m m outer-diameter/ 2.1 mm inner-diameter barrel plug into the cable so it reads +TIP . 2. Set the adapter ’s voltag e switch to 9 volt s. 3. Insert the adapter ’s barrel plug in to the DC9V jack on t he back of t he Co nc er tma t e 410.
8 CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL AMPLIFIER To amplify your Concertm ate 410’s sound, you can c o nnect i t t o an exter- nal amp lifier (not supplied) u sing an audio cable (not supplied ) with a 1 / 8 - inch plug.

14 USING THE A UTO- RHYTHMS Your Concertmate 410 has 12 auto- rhythms that provide a stea dy beat for your music. The name and num ber of each auto-rhythm is li sted on the Con- certmate 41 0’s top pane l. Follow these steps to select and play an auto-rhythm.

17 SPEC IAL FE ATURES USING REC The Concertmat e 410 has a mem ory storage func tion that a llows you to record and p lay back a m elody of up to 17 notes. 1. Select the preset vo ice you want to use (see “S electing a V oice” on Page 13). 2. Press REC .
