4 CONNECTIONS CONNECTING POWER You can pow er your karaoke with: • 6 C batteries • AC pow er Insta lling Batter ies You can power the ka r a oke with 6 C batteries (not supplied). For the bes t performance , we recomme nd alkaline batteries, such as Rad ioShack Cat.
5 Using A C Po wer To power your karaok e f r o m a sta n- dard AC o utlet, you ne ed an AC adapter, suc h as Cat . No. 273-1652 . Cautio n: Y ou must use an AC adapt - er that s upplies 12 volts D C pow er and at least 200 milliam ps. Its center tip must be set to p ositive and it mus t have a plug that properly fits t he DC 12V jack.
6 CONNECTING T O YOUR AMPLIFIER/RECEIVER To hear th e music along w ith your voice, connect your stereo amplifier/ receiver to the k araoke’s AUX OUT L and R jacks using the s upplied cab le. Use the whit e p lug for the l eft con nec- tion and the red p lug for the right con- nection at both ends of the cable.
