4 INST ALLA TION CHOOSING THE MOUNTING LOCA TION The first step i n mount ing the clock ra- dio is ch oosing a l ocation th at allo ws full mov ement o f the cloc k radio on the mounting brac ket.
5 Notes: • If you use a wood bloc k, use long er sc re ws t han t hos e sup- plied with the cl ock r adio . The screws must be able to pene- trate the block and go deep enough into the cabine t to fir mly anchor the clock radio .
6 To remove the clo ck radio from the bracke t, unplu g it firs t. Then sl owly slide ou t the c lock radi o. INST ALL ING THE BAC K U P BA T T E R Y To keep the cloc k running durin g an AC power fail ure, install a 9- volt back- up battery (not s upplied).
