47 Basic Operations —Continued The Music Optimizer function enhances the sound quality of compressed music f iles. Use it with music f iles that use “lossy” compression, su ch as MP3. Note: The Music Optimizer function only works with PCM digital audio input signals with a sampling rate belo w 48 kHz and analog audio input signals.
48 Listening to the Radio For AM/FM tuning to work properly , you must specify the AM/FM frequenc y step used in your area. Note that when this setting is cha nged, all radi o presets are deleted.
