Menu operations 26 EN [COMBINE IN CAMERA 1] As you recompose the frame, the ca mera autom atically shoots and combines pict ures for a single panoramic picture in the ca mera.
Menu operations EN 27 [COMBINE IN PC] Create a panoramic picture using the OLY MPUS Master software from the provided CD-ROM. Use the arrow pad to specify at which edge you want to connect the pictures, and t hen compose your shots so that the edges of the pictures overlap .
Menu operations 28 EN [ e SHOOT & SELE CT1]/[ f SHOOT & SELECT2] • These scene mode s allow you to take sequential pictures by holding down the shutter button. After shooting the pictur es, select the ones you want to erase by marking them with a R and press f / S to erase th em.

When activated [ON], the camera will record abou t 4 seconds of audio after the picture is taken. When recording, aim the camera micropho ne at the source of the sound you want to record.

Menu operations 34 EN Protected pictures ca nnot be erased with [E RASE], [SEL.IMAGE], or [ALL ERASE], but they ar e all erased by formatting. • Select the picture with 43 , and protect it by selecting [ON] wit h 12 . You can protect several frames in succe ssion.

46 EN Using OLYMPUS Master Using OLYMPUS Master Using the USB cable provided wit h your camera, you can connect th e camera and computer and download (transfer) the image s to your com puter using t he OLYMPUS Master software, also provided with the camera.

48 EN Using OLYMPUS Master 4 The camera is recognized by th e computer. • Windows When you connect the camera to your computer for the first time, the com puter attempts to recognize the camera. Click “OK” to exit the message that is displayed. The camera is recognized as a “Removable Disk”.
