A dditional memor y will increase application per formance by decr easing hard disk access. The BIOS automatically detects the amount of memory in the system and configures acc ordingly .

F ollow the icons instead of the function keys. “Z Z ” Ic on (F1): Places the Notebook PC in suspend mode (either Save-t o-RAM or Save-to-Disk depending on sleep button setting in power managemen t setup).

62 Notebook PC User Manual T wisted-Pair C able The cable used to connect the Ethernet card to a host (gener ally a Hub or Switch) is called a straigh t-through T wisted Pair Ethernet ( TPE). The end connectors are called RJ-45 connectors, which are not compatible with RJ-11 telephone connectors .
