EST ABLISHING RECEIVER COMMUNICATION T o open a serial port to communicate with the re ceiver , complete the following. See also Using CDU , later in this guide. 1. Launc h CDU from the Sta r t menu folder specified during the installation process . The default location is Star t | Programs | NovAtel OEMV | OEMV PC Software .
LOGGING DAT A An extensive collection of logs has been create d to capture the data your FlexPak rece ives and processes. These logs can be directed to any of the FlexPa k’s serial ports and can be automatically generated when new or changed dat a becomes available or at regular intervals.
REAL-TIME KINEMATIC (RTK) POSITIONING Corrections can be transmitted from a base st ation to a rover station to impro v e position accuracy . The base st ation is the GNSS receiver which is acting as the stationary reference. It ha s a known positi on and transm its correction messag es to the rover station.
