Introd uction 4 1. Introduction The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-9 00 allows you freedom to make and receive calls while on the move or in the office. The headset has a sliding boom that allows you to answer and end calls and to talk at a lower volume or in a noisy environment.

Get started 6 ■ Charge the battery This device has an internal, nonre movable, rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to remove the ba ttery from the device as you may damage the device. 1. Connect the charger to a wall outlet. 2. Connect the charger cable to the headset as shown in the figure.
Get started 7 3. Select the headset (Nokia BH- 900) from the list of found devices. 4. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones you ma y need to make the connection separately after pairing. See the user guide of your phone for details.
Get started 8 • Check that the headset is within 10 meters (30 feet) of your phone and that there are no obstructions between the headset and the phone, such as walls or other electronic devices.

Basic use ■ Put the headset on the ear Place the headset over your ear in a comfortable position, and point it toward your mouth as shown in the figure. ■ Sliding boom The sliding boom brings the microphone closer to your mouth, which improves the audio quality even when you talk at a lower volume or in a noisy environment.

To reject an incoming call, pull the boom down and push it up immediately, or briefly pres s the answer /end key twice. To end a call, push the boom up to its initial position, press the answer/ end key, or use the phone keys.

The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventua lly wear out.
