Notebook PC User Manual 41 Using the t ouchpad The touchpad allows y ou to use one-finger and multi-finger gestures to mov e the pointer so you can select and click items, rotate and zoom images, scroll lists, as well as swipe and switch between windows.

T ouchpad usage illustra tions T apping - T apping on the touchpad allows you to select items onscreen and open files. Clicking - Clicking on the touchpad simulate s the functions of the lef t mouse button and right mouse button.
Notebook PC User Manual 43 Rotating - Rotating images clockwise or counterclockwise is done on the touchpad by using two fingers . T o rotate an image , place two fingers on the t ouchpad then turn one finger clockwise or counterclockwise while the other stays still.
44 Notebook PC User Manual The touchpad responds to mo vement not to f orce. There is no need to tap the surface too hard. T apping too hard does not increase the responsiveness of the t ouchpad. The touchpad responds best to light pressur e. Caring f or the touchpad The touchpad is pressure sensitive.

Connections Network C onnec tion Connect a network cable, with RJ-45 connectors on each end, to the modem/network por t on the Notebook PC and the other end to a hub or switch.
