The standby mode is ho me base and indicates your device is in standby mode.

Hold the device as you would an y other telephone with the antenna area pointed up a nd over your shoulder .

All rights reserved. 7 Remove the battery After you have removed the back cover, insert your f inger into the finger grip, and lift the batter y from its compartment. Replace the b attery 1. Insert the gold-coloured contact end of the battery , into the battery slot.

If the battery is completely discharged, it may ta ke a fe w minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or befor e any ca lls can be made.

All rights reserved. 9 Adjust the earpiece volume Whether in or out of a call, you can scroll the volume key located on the left side of your device u p or down to adjust the volume of th e earpiece. When you adjust the vol ume, a bar chart indicates the volume level.

Predictive mode is much faster than the standard mode method because you only press the corresponding key on your keypad once for each letter .

Save — Save the messa ge to Sent items , Archive , Templates or a folder you have created. Save picture — Saves a picture to the Templates folder , if you r eceive a picture in the message.

Copyright protections may prevent some images, ringing tone s, and othe r conten t from being copied, modified, transferred, or forwarded.

If there is an interruption while the message is being sent, the device automatically tries to r esend it a few times. If this fails, the message remains in the Outbox folder and you can try to manually resend it later .
