4 Signal Stre ngt h Ind ic ati on A cellul ar phone sen ds and recei ves radio signals. As with all ra dio eq uipment , the qu ality of radio recepti on depend s on the str ength of the radio s ignal in the area where you are operating your phone.
5 3. Battery Informat i on Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery. Use only batteri es appro ved by t he ph one manuf acture r and recha rge your batte ry only with the chargers approved by the manufactur er. See “ Import ant Batt ery Inf ormatio n” on page 10.
6 Charging the Battery Plug t he char ger in to a wall out let and co nne ct th e ch arg er to the bottom of your phone. When c harging s tarts, the ba ttery segmen ts scr oll and the p hone beeps once . You c an use t he phone durin g charg - ing, but charging will be reduced for the duration of the call.

13 Selecting a Network Your phone operates on specific networks and someti mes it m ust choose which system to use. This can happen, for example, if you a re roa min g (i.

22 5. The Phone Book The Phone Book can store up to 75 phone numbers and corr espondin g names. I t also has a “n otepad” where you can stor e one addi tional number and name. The maximum number of phone book e ntries depends on how much informati on you store in each location.
