6 15. EMPLA CEMENT DU CHARGEUR a. Installer le chargeur aussi loin de la batterie que les câbles c.c. le permettent. b. Ne jamais placer le chargeur direct ement au-dessus d'une batterie pendant la charge; les gaz s'échappant de la batterie peuven t corroder et endommager le chargeur.
7 Il s’agit de la méthode de chargement adaptée aux batteries standards de plomb et d’acide dans des bonnes conditions à 20º C. Ne jamais charger une batterie congelée. Ne jamais poursuivre le chargement si la température de la batterie dépasse les 50º C.
8 REMARQUE: Ne tentez pas de démarrer le moteur pendant plus de 20 secondes toutes les 5 minutes ; dans le cas contraire, il y a un risqu e de surchauffe du démarreur ce qui entraînerai des dégâts. Si le véhicule refuse de démarrer et pendant que le démarreur refroidit , laissez le chargeur alimenter la batterie.
