You can use the skin softening opt ion to smooth th e skin tones of hu man faces.
54 Shooting Features C Auto Power Off in Smile Timer Mode When Smile timer is set to On (single) , On (continuo us) , or On (BSS) , the auto power off function ( A 104) is activated and th e camera turns off wh en either of the situations indicated below persists and no oth er operations are pe rformed.

59 Shooting Features C Red-eye Reduction This camera uses Adva nced Red- Eye Red uctio n (In-Ca mera Re d-Eye Fix). If the camera detects red eye while saving an im age, the affected ar ea will be processed to reduce red-eye befo re the image is saved .
