7 Charging Battery The device ha s a built-in r echargeab le battery . No extra battery in stallatio n is required. Ju st charge the device w hen it indica tes low battery . T o char ge the battery , plug the AC adap tor to any st andard w all outlet a nd the DC-IN port o f the device.

10 Using the Touch Screen This device is equipped with a touch -screen. Follow ing are a few tips on how to use the touch scre en. Main Touch Screen Actions In many appli cations, you can go ba ck one level in the interfac e by tapping o n the Back icon (at the top right co rner of the screen).

12 Start Reading To start reading an e-boo k, tap “Con tinue Read. .” Page Up/Down When you are reading the e-book, you can slide you r finger on the scree n left and right OR pres s the PREV IOUS/NEX T buttons on the device to page up o r down. Increase Font Size (1) W he n you a re reading , tap the Menu icon to display e-boo k settings.
13 (5) Once you finish inputting the page numb er, tap “OK” to jump to the specified page. Use Bookmarks You can add , delete or loa d bookma rks on the page . (1) W he n you a re reading , tap the Menu icon to display e-boo k settings. (2) Tap“Bookmarks” to display a b ookmark menu.
14 (5) Sign in with your payment account to start your checkout process. If you do not have a payment accou nt, please tap “Get Started” to get one. (6) Your credit card information and the e-book price should display. Tap “BUY NOW” to complete the checkout process.

18 Play ing M usic In the Home Screen , tap the Applica tion Tab to display the appli cations. Tap the “Music” icon to enter the music pl ayer mode. Music Librar y You should en ter the mu sic library o nce you start the music player. The Music Library show s your music files sorted by categories (Ar tist, Album , Genre, et c.

Search for Tracks You can searc h for trac ks in the inter nal memory or memory car d by inputting a few key words. (1) In the music library , tap the Dir ectory Brow s ing icon in the menu.
20 To play the pre vious/nex t song, tap / . You can tap the progres sion bar to g o directly to a different lo cation in the song. You can also drag the cur sor in the p rogression bar to anoth er location in the song.
21 (1) In the Music Library , tap the Play list icon to display the pl aylists. (2) Tap the icon beside the playli st tha t you w ant to delete, and then the pl aylist will be deleted . Note: You ca nnot delete the Recentl y Played pl aylist since a track is play ing.
22 Tapping on the screen can display o r hide the floa ting control b ar. Tap the / icon to pause/re sume the video. Tap “ ” to display the menu items. Tap the progre ssion bar to go directl y to a differen t location in the video.
23 Photo Thumbnails The first screen of the Pho to mode shows all the photos and subfolder s located in this device or memory card in thumb nails. To view a photo, tap its thumbnail to open it. If a pho to is in a subfolder, open the subfolder and you w i ll see your pho to thumbnail .
24 File Explorer The file browser gives you the ability t o navigate the file system of the device’ s internal memory and m em ory card. Tap the Appl ication Tab to displa y all applications , and then sele ct “Explo rer” to en ter the file exp lorer mode.
25 Home Go to the Ho me Screen. LevelUp Go back one l evel in the di rectory. Multi Select more than one file. Editor Copy, delete , move, pas te or rename the file or folder . Back Go back one l evel in the in terface. Next Go forw ard one level in the interface .
26 E-mail This device has an E-mail application pr e-installed. You can sen d or rece ive e-mails from the Inter net at any ti me w ith this device. Make sure you have an Internet connection bef ore using the email se rvice. Tap the App lication Tab to displa y all applications , and then select “Email ” to launch the email appli cation.
27 Add another Account Following the se steps to a dd another account if you want. (1) Launch the e mail application and then tap the Menu icon to display the menu item. Choo se “Account s” to display a ccounts. (2) Tap the Menu i con to display the menu item, and then choose “Add account .
