7 V iew of Main Unit 1. POWER Button Press power button to turn on the unit or exist standby or power off mode. 2. Card Slot Insert the SD card into the slot. 3. RESET Hole Press the reset button with a metal pin to reset the system. 4. LCD Screen 5. Charge Indicator When charging the battery , it is red.
8 System Connections • Always ensure that the unit and any other external device connected to the unit are switched off and unplugged from the power supply before you attempt to connect the unit to any external device. Connecting to PC The unit is designed with a USB port which allo ws you to connect the unit to a PC for map updating or charging.
9 System Connections Inserting SD Card The unit is designed with SD Card Slot which allows you to insert a SD card into the unit as shown below: T o remove the card, gently press the card in with your fingernail. The card unlocks and protrudes slightly .
10 Power Supply Pre p aration Using the AC Adaptor The unit is supplied with an AC adaptor fo r powering and charging its battery . 2. Plug the two-prong end of the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. 1. Connect AC adaptor to the USB port, as shown on the right.

12 General Setup System Main Menu In the main menu, there are four items for selecting. T ouch the corresponding item to enter . T ap to enter the Navigator . T ap to enter the MP3 Player . T ap to enter the Photo Viewer . T ap to enter the Setup menu.
13 General Setup Language T ap in the Setup menu to enter Language setting menu for lang u age selecting, as shown below: T ap the , buttons to select language.
14 General Setup Brightness T ap in the Setup menu to enter Backlight setting menu for backlight adjusting, as shown below: T ap , to darken or increase the brightness of the display .
15 General Setup Align Screen T ap in the Setup menu to align the screen, as shown below . T ap the center of the cross with your fi nger . When the cross moves to another position, tap and hold the center of the new target. Repeat each time to complete the calibration process.
16 Playing Music The unit is designed with SD card slot and supports MP3 and WMA format files playback. Y ou can insert the SD card with MP3 or WMA files in the unit for mu sic enjoyment.
17 Playing Music Playing Music T ap in the system main menu to enter the Music Player , as sho wn below: T ap button to enter the music play list menu, as shown below: When you open the play list, the system will look for audio files on its SD memory card and create a play list automatically .
18 Playing Music T ap / toggle buttons to determine whether the player will repeat the songs in the play list or not. T ap / toggle buttons to determine whether or not to play the songs in the list randomly. T ap to return to Music Player and tap to play the music, as shown below .
19 Photo V iewer The unit is designed with SD card slot. Y ou can insert the SD card with JPEG files. It supports JPEG format files playback. Note: Do not store JPEG format files in the Flash storage, for the fla sh storage is used to store map data, any attempt to open the Flash storage ma y result in the map data missing and lost.
20 Photo V iewer In the folder menu, double tap the memory card icon, and the photos stored in the memory card will be listed on the screen. In the photo list, double tap a photo to play it on the LCD screen. Y ou can also tap a photo to select it and then tap to play it.
21 Photo V iewer When playing photos, the Photo Viewer has following playback features: T ap to go back to the previous photo; tap to switch to the next photo. T ap to rotate the photo. Ta p , to zoom the photo in or out. T ap to play the photo in full-screen mode; double tap the screen again to return to Photo Viewer .
22 Use of the Mount Accessories When using the unit in vehicle, you can use the supplied mount accessories (mount bracket, magnetic cradle and dashboard mount disk) to mount the unit in the vehicle. T ake the following steps to operate: 1. See Fig. 1.
