1. WELCOME Thank you for purchasin g our Digital Media Player. T his uniquely design ed device combines an MP3 Player, Video Player and remov able Flash Memory drive all in one unit. You can move and store files bet w een computers and enjo y your MP3 music collection anytime and an ywhere.
1 2. PRECAUTIONS (1) Do not use this player when drivin g, riding or operating any other vehicles as it may lead to traffic accidents. (2) Keep your player clean. Do not place it near heat or subject to direct sunlight, dust, humidit y or rain /moisture.
(9) Attention: B ecause of different memory calculating methods and because the play er software (firmware) is stored on th e device’s flash memory , there may be a differenc e between flash memory stated capacity and actual capacity. Due to d ifferent firmware size s, the amount of actual f ree memory will vary.

5 6. CHARGING This prod uct uses a bui lt-in recharg eable Li-i on battery . This icon will be displayed at the upper left corner of the screen. The follow ing pictures indicate the charging status of the ba ttery: (1) W hen the batt ery is charging, the ic on will be changing from an empty battery to a full one to indi cate the process.
6 7. USING THE USB CONNECTION USB driver inst allation ( USB driver ne eds to be install ed only when Windows9 8SE operating system is used. ) (1) When con necting the MP3 pl ayer to the USB port of P C , PC will display “new hard ware found”.
MP3 music download When the connection is done, select the desired files and click the right key of the mouse and select “ copy ” . Double c lick to open the disc icon of player (i.e . “ H ” , the name of disc may differ) and then click t he right key of the mouse and select “ pas te ” .
Remove from USB port (1) Double click the icon of safely r emove hardware on the t ask column, a nd the relevant dialog box will be disp layed. (2) On the picture o f safely remove hardware dial og box, select the item of “USB mass s t o r ag e d e v i c e ” a n d c l i ck “stop” button.
(3) Click “OK” button. (4) W hen the screen displays “Safe to Remove Hardware ”, the player can be safely removed from PC. 9.
Special reminder: Do not disconnect the USB cable when dat a is being transmitted between PC and the player , which may cause data loss or d amage to the player . Disconnection should be done only when “ device can now be safely removed from the system ” is displayed; When USB is in operation, other buttons are locked and do not operate.
11 8. MENUS Main menu (1) Music : Select m usic in the main menu, t he device will enter mu sic sub-menu. (2) Photo : Select photo in the main menu , the device will ente r photo sub-menu. (3) Movie : Select mov ie in the main menu, the device will enter mov ie function.
Selection and exit (1) Long press play button or press power b utton to exit and return t o the upper lev el menu. The uppe rmost menu is main menu, which incl udes: music mode, photo mode , movie mode, v oice mode, FM radio mode, record mode, delete mode, setting mode, about and exit.
Power off pla yer (1) When the player is pow ered off, t he following modes w ill be saved, w hich includes: current mode, music elapse time, user setting. (i .e. volume, EQ, timi ng off and play mode etc.) (2) If the player is pow ered off normally (i.

(4) Press A -B/REC button to se t the start poin t of repeat section A -B, the screen display A Æ , press that button ag ain to set the end o f repeat section A-B, the screen will display A Æ B and st art repeating section AB. Pre ss A-B/REC button for the third time t o cancel sectio n A B repeat function.

Manual browse After entering photo function, press rew ind button or fast forward button to select manual browse and press rewind button or fast forward button to brow se the photo manually .
Thumbnail After entering photo function, press rew ind button or fast forward button to select thumbnail display and press pla y bu tto n to st art displaying phot o in thumbnail form. Movie Press rewind button or fast forward button in ma in me nu to s elect Movie function and press play button to ent er Movi e play .
(3) When the movie is play ing, long press volume up butt on + or volume down buton – to adjust the v olume. a. Select video2smv and double clic k it to enter the folder as indicates in the f ollowi.
b. Select and do uble click video2smv .exe program to enter as indicates in the follow ing figure: 21 c. Click INPUT to select th e files that need to b e converted. Y ou can set th e screen resolution an d display dimension at the same time, the higher th e resolution, the more space the f inished converted files will occupy and vice v ersa.
e. Wh en there is black dot a ppears within the brac ket before END, it means the conversion is fin ished. Click Quit to exit. Y our can play movie on the play er directly now .
V oice Press rewind button or fast forward button i n the mai n men u to s ele ct V oice function and press play button to enter that voice play function . The follow ing functions are prov ided in voice mode: (1) Play FM record (2) Play micropho ne record (3) Support record files in WA V format V002.
Radio Press rewind button or fast forward button in the main menu to select FM Ra dio fun ct ion and press play button to enter FM Radio play function. Locked state Current function Vo l u m e 24 AUTOSCANNIN (1) Up to 20 radi o stations can be stored in the radio .
FM radio (1) Press pl ay button to switch radio st ation from CH01 Æ CH02 Æ … Æ CH20 ; Press A-B/REC to sw itch radio station from CH01 Æ CH20 Æ CH19 Æ … Æ CH01. W hen switchin g the radio st ation, the play er will save the current frequency to the cur rent station number before skip to the nex t station.
FM record (1) Long press A-B/REC button to st art FM record. At this moment, the play er will display the pictur e of FM record and record icon. The recorded content is FM program but not microphone.
Record Press rewind button or fast forward button in the main menu to select Mi c. Rec ord fu nc tion and press p lay button to ent er Mic. Record function. Or long press A-B/REC button to ent er microphone reco rd function when the pl ayer is in any st ate other than FM ra dio.
(2) 7 record sampl ing rates: user can set the sampling rate of re cord file. The higher the sampling rate, the bet ter record quality will gain. T he lower the sampling rate, the more common quality will gain with lo nger record duration. There are total 7 sampling rate available: 8KHz, 1 1KHz, 1 6KHz, 22KHz, 32KHz, 44KHz and 48KHz.
Delete Press rewind button or fast forward button in the main menu to select De let e fu nct ion an d press play button to enter Delet e function, which incl udes delete one and d elete all.
Settings Press rewind button or fast forw ard button i n the main menu to select Settings menu and pre ss play button to e nter Settings menu, which inclu des language setting, EQ setti.
EQ Press rew ind button or fast forward button in EQ setting menu to select E Q a nd pr es s p la y button to conf irm. Long press p l a y b u t t o n or press power b utton to skip this setting. When playing music, the change o f EQ can be felt in the earphone.
Play mode Press re wind button or fast forward button in play mode setting menu to select play mode and press pla y bu tto n to confirm . Long press play butto n or press power button to skip this sett ing. The play mode of this player includes: normal, repeat one, rep eat all, random and random & r epeat.
FM band Press re wind button or fast forward button in FM band setting menu to select FM band and press play button to confirm. Long pr ess play button or press pow er button to skip this setting. F M band includes: US -EU band and Japan band.
Timer o ff Press rewind button or fast forward button in timing of f setting menu to select timing off and pre ss play button to co nfirm. Long press pl ay button or pres s power button to ski p this setting. The sub menus of ti ming off are: sto p off, sleep of f and backlight off.
Reset Select “YES ” to return to default setti ng, while select “NO” to re turn to the setting m enu. About Press rewind button or fast forward button i n th e mai n men u to sele ct About and press pl ay button to enter About. Y ou can chec k the total mem ory capacity , occupied spac e and version of the sof tware.

(2) Press A-B/REC button agai n to set the finishing point of repeat section A-B , and the play mode icon A Æ B w ill be display .
DRM music switch function Download operation of WMA music with DRM protection (1) On Window 98SE / Window ME / Windows 2K / Windows X P , music with DRM shoul d be transferre d by Windows Media Pl ayer version 9.0 or 10.0 (V ersion 10.0 i s for Windows XP only ) to mp3 player .
A. Connect pl ayer to PC. B. Choose the desired WMA music with DRM . 38.
C. Click Right button of the mouse a nd choose “Add to Sy nc list”. D. On the op en window , choose “S ync” option. 39.
E. On “Sy nc” window , choose th e desired WMA music w ith DRM as step B and choose “Removable Di sk”. 40.
F . Click “S tart Sync“ to transfer the WMA music with DRM to player . 41.
42 1 1. TROUBLESHOOTI N G If there is no pict ure displayed after the player is connected to PC an d the unit does not work as storage dis c or cannot be powered on after the battery is fu lly charged, please refer to the following steps to update the software in the player.
