SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using the grill, do not touch th e grill rack, burner grate or immediate surroundings as these areas become extremely hot and could cause burns. Use only dry potholders. Moist o r damp potholders on hot surfaces may cause burns from steam.
INST ALLA TION OF SIDE SHEL VES The screws for the side shelves mount are already screwed into the tw o sides of the grill. Remove the screws and install the right shelf as shown in th e figure below . Repeat the above step to install the left shelf on lef t side panel.
INST ALLA TION OF SIDE DOOR HANDLE T ake out the side door handle assembly from hardware bag. Remove the screws from side door handle, (see the figure below), atta ch on the door handle, and screw into th e holes of the side door of the grill.
INST ALLA TION OF SPICE TRA Y AND DIVIDING SHELF Place the dividing shelf inside the left door . INST ALLA TION OF ROTISSERIE KIT After inst all the rotisserie motor mount, Assemble the rotisserie skewer as shown in the figure below .
INST ALLA TION OF PROP ANE T ANK Attach regulator to the prop ane tank by turning the regulat or handle clockwise (see the figure below ). T urn off LP supply at cylinder when appliance is not in use. O P E N C L O S E g Put the gas tank into the gas tank pull-out tray .
T O MA TCH LIGHT THE GRILL If the burner will not light af ter several attempts then the burner can be match lit. If you’ve just attempted to light the burner with the igniter , allow 5 minutes for any accumulated gas to dissipate. Keep your face and hands as far away from the grill as possible.
GAS HOOK-UP LP Gas Cylinder must be fitted with Overfill Protection Device (OPD). LP GAS HOOK-UP: Ensure that the black plastic grommets on the LP cylinder valve are in place and that the hose does not come into contact with the grease tray or the grill head.
L E A K T E S T I N G GENERAL A lthough all gas connections on the grill are leak tested at the factory prio r to shipment, a complete gas tightness check must be performed at the installation site due to possible mishandling in shipment, or excessive pressure unknowingly being applied to the unit.
INST ALLER FINAL CHECK S pecified clearance maintained 24” from combustibles. All internal p ackaging removed. Unit tested and free of leaks. User informed of gas supply shut off valve location. PLEASE RET A IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS General use of the grill and rotisserie Each main burner is rated at 12,000 BTU/hr . The main grill burners encompass the entire cooking area and are side ported to minimize blockage from falling grease and debris. Above the burners are st ainless steel radiant (flame tamers).
LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS Do not attempt to light the grill if odor of gas is present. Call for service 1-800-913-8999. W ARNING: IMPORT ANT! BEFORE LIGHTING… these conditions exist call our customer service line. If the flame is yellow , it indicates insuf ficien t air .
USING THE SIDE BURNER W ARNING: IMPORT ANT! USING THE SIDE BURNER: Inspect the gas supply hos e prior to turning the gas “ON”. If there is evidence of cuts, wear o r abrasion, it must be repl aced prior to use. Do no t use the side burner if the odor of gas is present.
CARE & MAINTENANCE OF SIDE BURNER SIDE BURNER CLEANING: Clean the exterior of the burner with a wire b rush. Clear any clogged burner port s with a straightened paper clip. Never enla rg e the burne r port s. Never use a wooden to othpick a s it may break off and clog the port.
TROUBLE SHOOTING PROBLEM SOLUTION When I light the grill it does not flame immediately . --Make su re you have turn on the gas --Make sure it has spa rk while you are trying to ignite the burner . --Push in for approximately 5 second before to turn and ignite the grill.
Rotisserie motor will not turn --Check the voltage at the outlet. --If an extension cord is required, en sure it is a 16 gauges, grounded cord. --Ensure the on/of f switch is on. --Ensure the load does not exceed the 40 pounds operational capacity . --Ensure the spit is fully inserted in the motor .
