4 Getting Started User Guide I NTRODUCTION The Netopia™ Router is designed to be easy to connect, confi gure, and use. Netopia and your ISP together make it even easier for you to get your router set up and connected to the Inter net in a few minutes.
5 C ONNECTING TO YOUR N ETWORK The Netopia Router in a 10Base-T network B EFORE RUNNING S MART S TART The Smar tStar t Wizard will help you set up the r outer and let other users on the local ar ea network (LAN) share the Inter net connection.
6 Getting Started User Guide S ETTING UP YOUR R OUTER WITH THE S MART S TART W IZARD The Smar tStar t Wizard is tailored for your computer platfor m, but it works the same way on either a PC or a Macintosh.
