4 IMPORT ANT DO'S AND DON'TS DO'S DON'TS GENERAL INFORMA TION Read the entire instruction manual before operating the gas grill. Maintain proper clearance to combustibles (20" to rear of unit, 6" to sides). Additional clearance is recom- mended near vinyl siding or large panes of glass.
5 Do not use a flame to leak test. LEAK TESTING: This must be done before initial use, annually and whenever any gas components are replaced or serviced. No smoking while performing this test, and remove all sources of ignition. See Leak T esting Diagram for areas to check.
6 405 LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS Open lid. Rear Burner Lighting Main Burner Lighting Side Burner Lighting Remove warming rack and hanging basket. T urn left burner control to high position. Open burner cover . Press and hold igniter button until lit, or light by match.
7 COOKING INSTRUCTIONS When lit for the first time, the gas grill will emit a slight odour . This is a normal temporary condition caused by the "burn-in" of internal paint s and lubricants used in the manufacturing process and will not occur again.
8 BURNER - The burner is made from heavy wall 304 st ainless steel, but due to the extreme heat and corrosive environment, surface corrosion will occur . Use a brass wire brush to remove surface corrosion. Clean any blocked ports using an opened p aper clip.
9 TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Possible Causes Solution Low heat / Low flame when valve turned to high. For propane - improper lighting procedure. Ensure lighting procedure is followed carefully . All gas grill valves must be in the off position when the tank valve is turned on.

14 INSTRUCTIONS DE BRANCHEMENT DU GAZ TEST DE DÉTECTION DE FUITES RACCORD DE LA BONBONNE: Assurez-vous que le tuyau du régulateur de gaz est sans anomalie. Enlevez les bouchons sur la soupape de gaz à la bonbonne. Connectez le régulateur QCC1 sur la soup ape de gaz QCC1.

17 INSTRUCTIONS D’ENTRETIEN BLEUE FONCÉE BLEUE PÂLE BRÛLEUR ORIFICE DU BRÛLEUR POINTE JAUNE 1/2" Fermez le gaz à la source et débranchez l’appareil avant l’entretien. L ’entretien devrait être effectué seulement lorsque le gril est froid pour éviter toutes possibilités de brûlure.
18 Le brûleur ne s’allume pas avec l’allumeur mais s’allume avec une allumette. La pile est déchargée ou installée incorrectement. Remplacez avec des piles AAA à grande capacité. Inst allez la pile avec la borne positive (+) vers le bas. Fil de l’électrode lâche.
