Lights (green) to indicate that the system is rea dy for arming. If a zone is no t secured, the light will be off and the z one will displ ay in th e window .
6 A R MING STAY: PROTECTI NG YOURSELF AT HOME Arming in the Stay mode allows you to re main hom e with the pe rim eter protection active but with the interior protection off, so that you may move f reely within the prem ises. 1 Check the Touchpa d indicators .
7 Arming in Night mode allows you to remain home with all perimete r AND interior protection active--except for the F-64TPBR To uchpad PIR. I f the F-6 4TPBR Touchpad is loca ted in the bedroom, you may move about the bedro om freely. 1 Check the T ouchpad indicators.
8 ARMING STAY FROM NIGHT MODE When already armed in Night mode (see page 7), y ou can arm in Sta y mode from Night mode by si mply pressing the STAY button.
9 BYPASSING FAULTED ZON ES If you are trying to arm with a faulted zone or zones, the LCD display will clearl y indicate which zone(s) are faulted. If y o u cannot repair the z one(s), they ma y be temporarily removed from the system, or bypass ed, using the following procedure: 1 Press the BY PASS button.
10 EMERGENCY BUTTONS Emerg enc y Button s (Only avai lable if progr ammed). Fire Emergency Hold down the Fire button to al ert the central station of a fir e emergency. * (Fire Emerge ncy programmed? YES NO) Auxiliary Emergency Hold down this butt on to ale rt the central station of an auxiliary emergency.
11 DISARMING THE SYSTEM Disarming when home (when Armed Night or Stay): To disarm the system. press the DISARM / RESET button on the F-64TP BR Touchpad.
12 If an alarm occurs w hile y ou are at home: The Touc hpad siren will sound and the red ARM E D light will flash. The LCD display w ill rea d "ALARM". Proceed with caution ! If you suspect that an intruder may still be in the premises, leave immedi ately and call aut horities f rom a neighbor's te lephone.
13 If a fire is detected, the siren will sound a dist inct pulsating tone and the LCD window will flash the wo rd FIRE . If a Fire Alarm does occur: 1 If a fire is in progress, evacua te the premises immediately! Call the Fire Depa rtment from an outside phone.
14 FIRE PROTECTION Preparing a Fire Escape Plan Even with the most advanced fire alarm sy stem , adequate protection requires an escape plan. To prepare y our plan, draw floor plans of your building. Show two exits - a front or bac k door and a window fr om eac h room.
15 TOUCHPAD MENU MODE The Touchpad c an provide acc ess to a wide as sortm ent of utility functio ns, e ach displa yed on the Tou chpad LCD window in a prompting “YES/N O” form at. 1 To ent er Touchpad Menu Mode, press MENU . 2 To sk ip a function, press NO .

17 ACTIVATE F AULT FIND - Activ ates a m ultiple diag nostic test report. For ins taller's use onl y . If accidental ly enabled, press R ESET to exit. Note: This selectio n only appears with a Master I- FOB inserted in the Touchpad. RESET SYSTEM TBL - System trou bles displa y and sound at the Touchpad.

19 USER PROGRAM MODE User Program Mode Your Installer has pro grammed into your system a uniquely coded digital Master I-FOB that can b e used to not only disarm the sy stem and silence the siren, but also allows access to the User Progr am Mode .
