A NOTE ON INST ALLA TION Install the Compact Disc player on a level, vibration-free surface. Severe vibration, or operation in a tilted position, may cause the player to mis-track. The player may be stacked with other stereo components, as long as there is adequate ventilation ar ound it.

7. DISPLA Y The display provides information about playback status and about the laser pickup’ s location on the disc. The displayed track/time information is obtained by reading inaudible “sub-codes” in the disc.

Le connecteur d’ENTREE Liaison NAD [NAD-Link IN] permet de commander ce lecteur par des signaux de commande externes en provenance d’une Commande Multi-salles ou un Système de Relais à Distance.
Si le balayage est déclenché pendant que le lecteur se trouve en mode [P AUSE], le balayage se fait en silence. Si le balayage est déclenché en mode “Lecture” [PLA Y], vous entendrez une musique fragmentée à un volume sonore réduit lors du balayage.

6. VORWÄRTSSPRINGEN/SCANNEN SKIP FORWARD AND SCAN FORWARD Die T aste SKIP/SCAN FORW ARD bietet eine Kombination aus den Funktionen und . Wird während des Abspielens die T aste SKIP Forward gedrückt, springt der Laser auf den Anfang des nächsten Titels und setzt das Abspielen fort.
DER UMGANG MIT COMP ACT -DISCS Behandeln Sie CDs vorsichtig. Die Abspielseite einer CD wird dur ch kleine Staubpartikel, ein paar Fingerabdrücke oder leichte Kratzer nicht beeinträchtigt. Aber große Kratzer oder dicke, fettige Fingerabdrücke können den CD-Spieler beim Abtasten der CD durchaus behindern.
E 16 T ocadiscos Para Discos Compactos NAD S500 NOT A SOBRE LA INST ALACION Instale el tocadiscos para Discos Compactos sobre una superficie nivelada y sin vibración. La vibración severa, o el funcionamiento en una posición inclinada, puede hacer que el tocadiscos falle en captar la pista de sonido.
6. ENTRADA DE RED DE CA IEC (ALIMENT ACIÓN ELÉCTRICA) El S500 se entrega con un cable separado de r ed de CA. Antes de conectar el cable a una toma de pared con corriente asegur e que esté firmemente conectado primero a la toma de entrada de Red de CA del NAD S500.
E 18 6. SKIP FORWARD Y SCAN FORWARD Las funciones y están combinadas en un solo pulsador SKIP/SCAN Forward. Durante la escucha, si se pulsa SKIP FORW ARD se hace saltar el láser al comienzo de la pista siguiente y allí se reanuda la escucha.

Il connettore NAD Link IN permette al ripr oduttore di venir e azionato tramite segnali esterni di comando da un controllore pluriambiente oppure un sistema a distanza. Collegar e un cavo dal combinatore (oppure dal jack “NAD Link OUT” su altra appar ecchiatura NAD) al jack “NAD Link IN” su questo riproduttor e per CD.

NOT AS SOBRE A INST ALAÇÃO Instale o leitor de Discos Compactos numa superfície nivelada e firme, que não esteja sujeita a vibrações. O funcionamento numa posição inclinada ou sujeito a vibrações fortes poderá levar a que o leitor de CD perca a sequência de algumas faixas.
5. NAD LINK IN/OUT (ENTRADA E SAÍDA DA INTERLIGAÇÃO NAD) O terminal NAD-Link OUT (SAÍDA) permite efectuar a ligação de telecomandos de controlo r emoto a partir deste leitor de CD para outros apar elhos equipados com uma entrada NAD-Link (ou outra entrada compatível).
A função de SCAN Back é activada através da pressão do mesmo botão, mas é necessário mantê-lo premido durante mais de 2 segundos. Isto fará com que o laser efectue continuamente a busca nas faixas anteriores, primeir o lentamente e, após alguns segundos, mais depressa, até que deixe de pr essionar o botão.
COLOCAÇÃO E SUBSTITUIÇÃO DE PILHAS O controlo r emoto funciona com duas pilhas de 1.5 volt de tamanho AAA (i.e. UM-4 ou IEC RO3). Recomenda-se a utilização de pilhas alcalinas, para conseguir um tempo de funcionamento máximo.
