Adjustments Wheels The til ler is shipp ed with the wh eels adjus ted so that the machine si ts level. B efore tillin g, the front w heel mus t be raise d. T o do this, pull th e wheel b racket assemb ly down towards the groun d and lif t up. See Fig .

Cultivating For cultiv ating, a t wo to three inch dep th is desirabl e. With the outer tin es install ed, the wor king wid th of the machine is 22 o r 24 inches. For cultiv ation, the tine w idth can b e reduced to 1 3 inches by removin g the outer tine s, refer to the Adjus tment Se ction .

Of f- Season Storage If the ti ller will not be use d for a period lon ger than 30 d ay s, the following ste ps should be t aken to prepare the tiller for stor age. Clean the e xter ior of engi ne and the entire ti ller thoro ughly. L ubr icate the tille r as describ ed in the Lubric ation instr uctio ns.
