Each bank contains a certain number of sub-banks , which determine in general a type of sound: s ub-ban k “basses”, sub-bank “sound effects”, etc.

It can b e u sed either stati call y wi th th e knobs or t hanks to the modul ation inp uts, which can be connected to the outpu t of any m odule (envelope , oscill ator, modulati on dial…) .
70 ARTURIA – MOOG MODULAR V 2.6 – USER’S MANUAL The first two frequency modul ation inputs w ork in an exponential mode, while the third, “Lin” works in a linear mode. Connected di rectly to a g enerator (env elope, oscill ator, sequenc er…), t he maxi mum ampli tude of t he modul ation is of +/ - 4 octaves.

Similarly, a group of oscillators disconnected f rom the keyb oard by the “keyb” interrupter is perman ently active.
