COFFEEMAKER FEA TURES AND BENEFITS Y our new MR. COFFEE ® coffeemaker has the following features: • Brewing Capacity – 10 Cups – thermal carafe • Removable Filter Basket – The filter basket pulls out for fast and easy cleaning and filling.
B. W ater Filtration System Congratulations! Y ou are the owner of a MR. COFFEE ® water filtration system. This carbon-based water filter improves the taste of your coffee by removing up to 97% of the chlorine from the water you may use to brew your coffee.
BREWING COFFEE NOW 1. After completing the steps in the Adding W ater and Coffee section and with the decanter and the filter basket securely in place, turn the coffeemaker on by pressing the BREW NOW button once (Figure 7). The BREW NOW light will turn on and pulse to signal that the coffeemaker is on and brewing.
12 13 8. Remove and discard the paper filter used during the cleaning cycle. If a Mr . Coffee ® permanent filter was used during cleaning, remove it and rinse it thoroughly before replacing it in the filter basket. 9. Begin brewing and allow the full brew cycle to complete.
14 15 SER VICE AND MAINTENANCE Replacement Parts • Coffee Filters – For better tasting coffee, we recommend that you use a MR. COFFEE ® brand 10–12 cup basket-style paper filter or a MR. COFFEE ® brand permanent filter . These filters are available at most grocery stores.

22 23 B. Sistema de Filtración de Agua ¡Felicitaciones! Usted es el dueño de un sistema de filtración de agua MR. COFFEE ® . Este filtro de agua a base de carbono mejora el sabor de su café al remover el 97% del cloro del agua que usted utiliza para colar su café.
24 25 COLANDO CAFÉ AHORA 1. Después de completar los pasos en la sección Agregar agua y café con la jarra y la canasta del filtro aseguradas en su lugar , encienda la cafetera presionando el botón BREW NOW (Colar ahora) una vez (Figura 7). La luz BREW NOW se encenderá y pulsará para indicar que la cafetera está encendida y colando.
26 27 8. Saque y descarte el filtro utilizado durante el ciclo de limpieza y reemplácelo con un filtro de papel tipo canasta para 10–12 tazas MR. COFFEE ® nuevo. Si se utilizó un filtro permanente Mr . COFFEE ® durante la limpieza, sáquelo y enjuáguelo bien antes de reemplazarlo en la canasta del filtro 9.
