The timer allows you to preset when you would like the cof feemaker to automatically brew your coffee, up to 24 hours in advance. - Adjustable W armer Plate – This feature allows you to keep your coffee hot after brewing and adjust the temperature to fit your taste.
36 9 SETTING THE CLOCK AND DELA Y BREW TIME On programmable models (FTX20/FTX23/FTX25/FTX26, FTXSS20/FTXSS23/FTXSS26 only) T o Set the Clock: 1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will flash on the control panel to indicate that the time has not been set yet.

32 13 C. BREWING COFFEE NOW 1. After completing the steps in the “ Adding Water and Coffee ” section and with the glass decanter and the filter basket securely in place, turn the coffeemaker on. For Programmable models: press the SELECT button once to turn the coffeemaker on.
31 14 5. Make sure the decanter is empty before starting to brew coffee. 6. Be sure to tur n your coffeemaker off when no longer using it. The Fresh Brew™ T imer Feature (on FTX20/FTX23/FTX25/FTX26, FTXSS20/FTXSS23/FTXSS26 only) The FRESH BREW™ TIMER feature counts up from the moment the br ewing cycle starts up to 2 hours.

29 16 CLEANING AND MAINT AINING YOUR COFFEEMAKER Daily Cleaning Always unplug the coffeemaker and allow to cool befor e cleaning. Remove the filter basket, permanent filter (not included on all models), shower head cover (by turning it counterclockwise), decanter and decanter lid and wash them in a solution of hot water and mild liquid soap.
28 8. Fill the water reservoir with clean, fr esh water . 9. Place the empty decanter back on the coffeemaker , centered on the warmer plate. 10. Remove and discard the filter used during the cleaning cycle and replace it with a fresh MR. COFFEE ® 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter .
27 18 W ater Filtration Disk Replacement Y our water filtration disk will need to be replaced once a month (approx. 30 brew cycles). If the machine will not be in use for an extended period of time, rinse the water filter with r unning water and clean the cof feemaker befor e use.

24 21 Service and Maintenance Replacement Parts • Cof fee Filters – For better tasting cof fee, we recommend that you use a MR. COFFEE ® brand 10-12 cup basket paper filter or a MR. COFFEE ® brand permanent filter . These filters are available at most grocery stores.
