Brewing Coff ee 1. Slide the filter basket open and insert a 4-cup Mr. Coffee ® brand paper filter into the filter basket. 2. Add desired amount of coffee according to the coffee measurement chart found below. Shake lightly to level coffee. 3. Be sure the paper filter is properly centered before sliding the filter basket into place.
Cleaning Instructions Your coffeemaker must be cleaned when you begin to notice excessive steaming or the brewing time increases considerably. This condition is caused by a buildup of lime and mineral deposits from your water. If the pumping action stops before all the water has been pumped out of the machine, then the appliance requires cleaning.
