Clean Your Mr. Coffee Before Using the First lime Make sure your first cup of coffee is as good as can be by cleaning your Mr. Coffee coffeemaker before you use it the first time. Using Vinegar: 1. Fill the decanter to the 4 cup marking with undiluted white household vinegar. Pour the vinegar into your coffeemaker. 2. Place a filter into the filter basket and slide into place. 3. Place the empty decanter on the warmer plate and turn the coffee- maker ON.
