1 1 Chapter 1 Introduction The MOXA UPort 1200/1400/1600 ar e advanced USB-to-serial hubs that conn ect to 2, 4, 8, or 16 RS-232 or RS-232/422/ 485 serial devices. The UP ort 1200/ 1400/1600 Series adds 2, 4, 8, or 16 Windows serial COM por ts via its USB connecti on, and is co mpatible with new and legacy RS-232 or RS-422/485 devices.

2 2 Chapter 2 Driver Installation This chapter includ es in formation about installin g the UPort 1200/1400/1600 USB-to-Serial Hub . We present the installatio n procedure for Windows 20 00. The pro cedures for W indows XP/200 3 (32 bit) and Windows X P/2003 (64 b it) are esse ntially the sa me as that for Windows 2000.
