(Y ou will hear an audible click and the Lev er will return). 4 4 Place the attachment and Splash Guard into the Attachment Sock et (8) . Rotate the Attachment Sleev e (7) clockwise to secure into place.
5 Do not operate your Stand Mix er continuously for more than 5 minutes. After using f or this length of time, let it cool down f or 1 0 minutes befor e using again. Do not ov er fill the mixing bowl. Ov er filling may cause damage to the mixer and other ar eas of your kitchen.
6 Y our Stand Mixer comes with three mixing attachments, each is designed f or a specific task. Beater (10) Use the Beater for cr eaming butter and sugar , mixing cake mix es and making shor t crust pastry . When using the Beater it is recommended to use speeds 1 -4 as higher speeds may cause splashing.

10 Method: 1 Place all ingredients in the Mixing Bo wl. 2 Using the Beater Attachment, mix on speed 1 until light and cream y . 3 During mixing it may be necessary to stop the Mixer and scrape the sides of the Mixing Bowl using a spatula a f ew times to make sur e all the ingredients ar e incorporated properly .
11 Method: 1 Pr e heat the oven to 1 50ºC, Gas Mark 2. 2 Place whites in the Mixing Bowl and insert Whisk Attac hments. 3 Whisk on maximum speed until at the soft peak stage. This takes about 3 minutes. During mixing hold the Mixing Bowl steady and turn clockwise and anticlockwise to allow the ingr edients to mix thoroughly .
