1 WI-FI ROUTER DODGE RAM-REGULAR CAB PROCEDURE STEPS: NOTE: Using a test l ight, verify t he cigarette li ghter outlet b eing used is ignit ion switched. Power must not be supplied with the ignitio n in the OFF position. NOTE: If equip ped with the mini conso le, proceed to ste p 4.
2 4. On vehicles with a m ini console, remove the 4 WD gear shift boot, if equippe d. 5. If equipped wi th a manual transmissi on, remove the transmissio n gear shift lever extension. 6. Remove the console inserts, if equi pped. 7. Remove the bolts (2) t hat secure the rear console (1) to the fl oor panel.
3 9. Remove the bolts (2) and sep arate the front consol e (3) from the fl oor . 10. Separ ate the front clips (1) and re move the mini co n- sole. 1 1. On vehicles wi th a full cen ter console, using a trim stick C-4755 or e quivalent, separate the se ven front console bez el clips (2), lift up the bac k of the bezel (1) and remov e.
4 14. Remove the screws (2). 15. Using a tri m stick C-4755 or equivalen t, disengage the retainer cl ips that secure the i nstrument panel ce nter bezel (1) to the ins trument pane l. 16. Dis connect the w ire harness co nnectors and r emove the center bez el from the vehicle .
5 22. Remove the three b olts (1) that secure t he rear stor- age compartment ( 2) to the fl oor panel ( 3) and remove the storage co mpartment fr om the rear cab tri m panel (4). 23. Remove the cap (1) and t hen the bolt (2) tha t secures the seat b elt (3) to th e top of th e B-pilla r (4) and p osi- tion the seat belt out of the way .
6 28. R emove the utility hoo ks (3) from the rea r cab trim panel (1) an d remove the tr im panel. 29. Instal l the Wi-Fi router to th e rear cab trim panel with the provided mater ials. 30. Make a small cut in t he rear cab trim panel an d route the Wi-Fi route r connector through 31.
7 40. Place t he strands of the power side wires overlap ping each other inside of the splice clip (1). 41. Using crimping tool (1), Mopar® p/n 05019912AA or equiv- alent, cri mp the splice cl ip and wires toge ther . 42. Repeat the previous two steps for t he ground side wires.
8 44. Cente r the heat shrink tubi ng (2) over the solder joi nt and heat using a heat gun . Heat the joint u ntil the tubing i s tightly sea led and sealant (1) c omes out of both ends of the tubing. 45. Place the lowe r B-pillar trim pan el (3) into position a nd engage the r etaining t abs that se cure the tr im panel to the B-pilla r (4).
9 50. Install the storage compartment (2) to the rear cab and install t he three fasteners (1) tha t secure the rear stor- age compartment t o the fl oor panel (3). 51. Place the cowl trim panel (1) into position and eng age the retaini ng tabs to the door sill (3).
10 52. Engag e the glove box (1) hinge s to the instrument panel. 53. Press the two g love box stop s (2) and raise th e glove box upward. 54. Close the glove box. 55. Positi on the instrument panel center bezel (1) near the IP and connect the wi re harness connecto rs.
11 59. Instal l the lower bezel p anel (2) ensurin g the retaining tabs engage. 60. If equ ipped with a mi ni console, positi on the console and seat the fron t clips (1) fully .
12 62. Instal l the bolts (2) that secure the rear co nsole (1) to the fl oor panel. 63. Install the inserts. 64. Instal l the gear shift lever extension.
13 66. If equipped with a ful l console, Install t he front base (2). 67. Seat the rear of the base to engage the f ront guide pins (5) and In stall the bol ts (1). 68. Inst all the console bezel (1) and engage the seven front console bezel clips (2).

3 9. Remove the bolts (2) and sep arate the front consol e (3) from the fl oor . 10. Separ ate the front clips (1) and re move the mini co n- sole. 1 1. On vehicles wi th a full cen ter console, using a trim stick C-4755 or e quivalent, separate the se ven front console bez el clips (2), lift up the bac k of the bezel (1) and remov e.
4 14. Remove the screws (2). 15. Using a tri m stick C-4755 or equivalen t, disengage the retainer cl ips that secure the i nstrument panel ce nter bezel (1) to the ins trument pane l. 16. Dis connect the w ire harness co nnectors and r emove the center bez el from the vehicle .
5 22. Using a s mall fl at-blade d tool, carefully op en the two fastener covers ( 2) located on the grab handl e (1). 23. Remove the tw o bolts (3) th at secure the grab handle to the B-pillar and remo ve the grab ha ndle.
6 26. Using a tri m stick C-4755 or equivalen t, disengage the retaining ta bs that secu re the lower B-p illar trim pan el (1) to the B-pilla r (2). 27. Remove th e seat belt (3) from th e lower B-pillar trim panel through t he slot provided and re move the trim panel.
7 33. Using a tri m stick C-4755 o r equivalent, disenga ge the retaining tab s of the sill trim pane l (1) from the reta iner clips in t he rear door si ll (2) and r emove the tri m panel. 34. Inst all and secure t he wi- fi rout er to the fl oor .
8 40. Place the strands of the power side wires overlap ping each other inside of the splice clip (1). 41. Using crimping tool (1), Mopar® p/n 05019912AA or equiv- alent, cri mp the splice cl ip and wires toge ther . 42. Repeat the previous two steps for t he ground side wires.

Heat the joint u ntil the tubing i s tightly sea led and sealant (1) c omes out of both ends of the tubing. 45. Engag e the retaining tabs o f the sill trim pa nel (1) re- tainer clip s in the rear door sill (2) and i nstall the sill trim panel .
10 49. Position the upper C -pillar trim pan el (5) to the C-pilla r (4). 50. Engage the re taining tab s that secure the up per C-pil- lar trim panel to the C-pillar . 51. Install the b olt (2) that s ecures the se at belt (3) to th e top of the C-pilla r .
11 59. Install the grab h andle (1) onto the B -pillar and install t h et w ob o l t s( 3 ) . T i g h t e nt h eb o l t st o6N · m( 5 5i n . lbs.). 60. Close the two fasten er covers (2) located on the grab handle. 61. Posit ion the cowl trim panel ( 1) onto the door sill ( 3).
12 63. Engag e the glove box (1) hinge s to the instrument panel. 64. Press the two g love box stop s (2) and raise th e glove box upward. 65. Close the glove box. 66. Positi on the instrument panel center bezel (1) near the IP and connect the wi re harness connecto rs.
13 70. Instal l the lower bezel p anel (2) ensurin g the retaining tabs engage. 71. If equ ipped with a mi ni console, positi on the console and seat the fron t clips (1) fully .
14 73. Instal l the bolts (2) that secure the rear co nsole (1) to the fl oor panel. 74. Install the inserts. 75. Instal l the gear shift lever extension.
15 77. If equipped with a ful l console, Install t he front base (2). 78. Seat the rear of the base to engage the f ront guide pins (5) and In stall the bol ts (1). 79. Inst all the console bezel (1) and engage the seven front console bezel clips (2).

4 14. Remove the screws (2). 15. Using a tri m stick C-4755 or equivalen t, disengage the retainer cl ips that secure the i nstrument panel ce nter bezel (1) to the ins trument pane l. 16. Dis connect the w ire harness co nnectors and r emove the center bez el from the vehicle .
5 22. Remove the three b olts (1) that secure t he rear stor- age compartment ( 2) to the fl oor panel ( 3) and remove the storage co mpartment fr om the rear cab tri m panel (4). 23. Remove the cap (1) and t hen the bolt (2) tha t secures the seat b elt (3) to th e top of th e B-pilla r (4) and p osi- tion the seat belt out of the way .

9 50. Install the storage compartment (2) to the rear cab and install t he three fasteners (1) tha t secure the rear stor- age compartment t o the fl oor panel (3). 51. Place the cowl trim panel (1) into position and eng age the retaini ng tabs to the door sill (3).

12 62. Instal l the bolts (2) that secure the rear co nsole (1) to the fl oor panel. 63. Install the inserts. 64. Instal l the gear shift lever extension.
13 66. If equipped with a ful l console, Install t he front base (2). 67. Seat the rear of the base to engage the f ront guide pins (5) and In stall the bol ts (1). 68. Inst all the console bezel (1) and engage the seven front console bezel clips (2).
1 WI-FI ROUTER DODGE RAM, QUAD/CREW CAB PROCEDURE STEPS: NOTE: Using a test l ight, verify t he cigarette li ghter outlet b eing used is ignit ion switched. Power must not be present with the ignition in t he OFF position. 1. Disconnect and i solate the negati ve battery cable.
2 7. Remove t he cap (1) and then th e bolt (2) that secure s the seat be lt (3) to th e top of the C -pillar (4) an d posi- tion the seat belt out of the way . 8. Using a trim sti ck C-4755 or equiva lent, disengage the retaining tabs th at secure the up per C-pillar trim pan el (5) to the C-pillar an d remove th e trim panel .
3 13. Instal l and secure the Wi-Fi r outer to the fl oor wit h the provided material. 14. Route t he Wi-Fi powe r harness from t he router al ong the sill securing where necessary . FULL CENTER CONSOLE 15. Remove the r ubber mat (1). 16. Using a tri m stick C-4755 o r equivalent, disenga ge the retaining tab s of the shifter b ezel ring (2).
4 17. Remove the two cen ter console retai ners (1). 18. Using a tri m stick C-4755 o r equivalent, disenga ge the retain ing tabs and remove t he center consol e trim (2). 19. Disco nnect the power outlet (1). 20. Route t he Wi-Fi power harness behi nd the glove box and up to the key on power out let and cut to lengt h.
5 WITHOUT FULL CENTER CONSOLE 21. Using a tri m stick C-4755 o r equivalent, disenga ge the retaini ng tabs and remove the lower be zel panel (1) . 22. Remove the two lower screws securin g the cup holder to the IP . 23. Fold th e cup holder down and lower the cup hol der (2) close out panel by depressin g the tab at the top of the panel.
6 33. Using crimping tool (1), Mopar® p/n 05019912AA or equiv- alent, cri mp the splice cl ip and wires toge ther . 34. Repeat the previous two steps for t he ground side wires. 35. Solder ( 3) the connection ( 2) together using r osin core sol- der (1).
7 37. Install the center co nsole trim (2). 38. Install the two reta iners (1). 39. Inst all the rubber mat (1). 40. Instal l the shifter bezel ri ng (2).
8 WITHOUT FULL CENTER CONSOLE 41. Instal l the lower IP surround t o the vehicle. 42. Connect th e power outlet electri cal connectors and i n- stall the po wer outlet trim panel. 43. Close the cl ose out panel by depressi ng the tab at the top of the panel.
9 52. Position the upper C -pillar trim pan el (5) to the C-pilla r (4). 53. Engage the re taining tab s that secure the up per C-pil- lar trim panel to the C-pillar . 54. Install the b olt (2) that s ecures the se at belt (3) to th e top of the C-pilla r .
1 WIFI ROUTER 300/CHARGER/CHALLENGER PROCEDURE STEPS: 1. Remove the spare tire cover . 2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (2) Aug 08, 2008 K6860631 Rev .
2 3. Remove the Power Distribution Center (PDC) by pressing the releasing tabs (1) and pulling the PDC straight up. 4. Remove the back cover of the PDC (2).
3 5. Locate the F981 (RD/BR) circuit (1) going to fuse 18. Refer to the wire schematic. Aug 08, 2008 K6860631 Rev . 1.
4 6. Measure the appropriate length of wire so that the wire harness will reach the router from the PDC. 7. Remove onehalf (1/2) inch of insulation from each wire that needs to be spliced. 8. Place a piece of adhesive lined heat shrink tubing on one side of the wire.
5 18. Secure the WiFi Router (1) with the supplied fasten ers on the back of the passenger rear seat (2). Mea sure 230 mm (9.1 in.) from the bottom of the seat back (3) to the top of the WiFi Router . 19. The WiFi Router (3) should be 50 mm (2 in.
1 WI-FI ROUTER DODGE CALIBER PROCEDURE STEPS: NOTE: Using a test light , ensure the power outlet being used i s ignition switched. Power must not be present with the igniti on in the OFF position. 1. Disconnect and i solate the negati ve battery cable.
2 10. Fol d the seats f orward. 1 1. Remove the nut (5) and bol ts (6) and remove t he 40% seat back (4). 12. Using spe cial tool C-4755, pry off the lower B-pillar trim. 13. Remove from vehicle. 14. Using tri m stick C-4755, p ry up the scuf f plate.
3 17. Pull up on the front corner of the quarter tr im and re- lease the clip. 18. Release th e remaining clips and re move the left quar- ter panel trim fr om vehicle. 19. Remove the lower steer ing column cover . 20. Pull up on shi fter knob (1) and remove.
4 22. Remove the two screws (1 ). 23. Pul l on side of housi ng (1) and unsnap hou sing tabs. 24. Disconne ct console housing wire connector (2 )a n di n - strument panel conn ector (3). 25. Remove from vehicle. 26. Mount th e router to the lef t quarter trim panel wit h the provided materials .
5 30. Instal l the quarter t rim panel to the veh icle, ensuring the clip retai ners engage. 31. Route the antenna cable along the left side of the vehi- cle, across the lower instrument panel brace and over to the shifter housing at the cigarette lighter connect or , securing along t he way and cut to the prop er length.
6 36. Using crim ping tool (1), Mopar® p/ n 05019912AA or equivalent , crimp the spli ce clip and wires toget her . 37. Repeat the previous two steps f or the ground s ide wires. 38. Solder ( 3) the connection (2) togethe r using rosin core solder (1).
7 40. Connect ce nter console housing wire connecto r (2) with instrument panel connector ( 3). 41. Place cons ole housing (1 ) over shifter le ver ensuring console tabs seat properl y . 42. Install th e two sc rews (1) . 43. Insert be zel (2) locator t o shif ter pod (3).
8 47. Install the lower st eering column cover . 48. Place scuf f plate (1) ont o door sill (2). 49. Align scuff plate tabs with d oor scuff holes. 50. Hand press scu ff plate ensuring tabs are properly seated. 51. Install t he left side lower cowl tri m panel.
9 54. Instal l the 40% seat section (4 ) over the stud and seat bracket and inst all the seat br acket bolts (6). 55. T ighten the seat bracket bolts ( 6) to 46 N·m (34 ft. lbs.). 56. Install th e nut (5). 57. T i ghten the nuts (5 and 3) to 80 N·m (60 ft .
1 WI-FI ROUTER JEEP COMMANDER PROCEDURE STEPS: W ARNI NG: Disable the airba g system before attempti ng any steering wheel, steering column, or instrument panel component dia gnosis or service. Disconnect and isolate the neg ative battery (gr ound) cable.
2 1 1. Remove the cowl trim panel (1) . 12. Lower the gl ove box by depressing the two tabs at t he top of the glove box and loweri ng the glove box. 13. Remove the glove box. 14. Remove the sound i nsulator fro m the passenger side lower instr ument panel.
3 23. Place the strands of the power side wires overlap ping each other inside of the splice clip (1). 24. Using crimping tool (1), Mopar® p/n 05019912AA or equiv- alent, cri mp the splice cl ip and wires toge ther . 25. Repeat the previous two steps for t he ground side wires.
4 27. Cente r the heat shrink tubi ng (2) over the solder joi nt and heat using a heat gun . Heat the joint u ntil the tubing i s tightly sea led and sealant (1) c omes out of both ends of the tubing. 28. With t he passenger seat on t he bench, unclip the heated seat modu le (HSM) and reroute the HSM and wiring harness as shown.
5 38. Squar ely position the ro uter (1) on the l ower seat frame (2) a s shown and secure in place wit h the velcro provided . 39. Connect the electr ical connectors t o the center be zel and install t he center bezel to the i nstrument panel. 40. Instal l the sound insulator to the passenge r side lower instrume nt panel.
6 43. Instal l the passenger door scuf f plate (1). 44. Place the shifter in park and release the parking brake. Aug 08, 2008 K6860631 Rev . 1.

2 1 1. Locate the cigarette li ghter outlet wi ring harness. 12. Cut each wire and remo ve 13 mm (0.5 in.) of insula- tion from each wir e that needs to be solde red/splice d. 13. Pla ce a piece of suppl ied adhesive li ned heat shri nk tubing on one side of ea ch cut wire.
3 18. Solder ( 3) the connection ( 2) together using r osin core sol- der (1). 19. Cente r the heat shrink tubi ng (2) over the solder joi nt and heat using a heat gun . Heat the joint u ntil the tubing i s tightly sea led and sealant (1) c omes out of both ends of the tubing.
1 WI-FI ROUTER DAKOT A PROCEDURE STEPS: 1. Disconnect and isolate t he negative battery cable. W ARNI NG: T o avoid personal injury or death, when handling a seat belt tensi oner retractor , exercise proper care to keep fi ngers out from under the retract or cover and away from the seat belt webbing where it exits from the retractor cover .
2 5. T o acce ss the rear door sill scuff plate for remov al, use a trim stick C-4755 or eq uivalent to disengag e enough of the retaining ta bs (2) that secure the door sill scuf f plate end of t he cowl trim panel to the retainin g clips in the front do or sill.
3 QUAD CAB 12. Using a tri m stick C-4755 o r equivalent, disenga ge the retaining tab s that secure the d oor sill scuff plate (1) end of the cowl trim panel to the ret aining clips (2) in the front door sil l (3).
4 ALL 18. Route and secure the Wi-Fi harness along scuff plates to the instru ment panel. 19. Using a tri m stick C-4755 or equival ent, separate the end cap retaining c lips and remo ve the end cap. 20. Pull the park brake release h andle (1) o ut, release t he clip (2) and discon nect the release rod ( 3).
5 23. Remove the two screws (3 ). 24. Using a tri m stick C-4755 or equival ent, separate the four retainin g clips (1) an d remove th e bezel (2). 25. Disco nnect the electrical connect ors and rem ove the bezel. 26. Route and secu re the Wi-Fi harness across the steering col umn opening to the cent er stack a nd cut to length.
6 31. Place t he strands of the power si de wires overlappi ng each other inside of th e splice clip (1). 32. Using crim ping tool (1), Mopar® p/ n 05019912AA or equivalent , crimp the spli ce clip and wires toget her . 33. Repeat the previous two steps f or the ground s ide wires.
7 Center the heat shr ink tubing (2) over the solder joint and heat using a heat g un. Heat the joi nt until the tubi ng is tightly se aled and sealant (1) comes out o f both ends of the tubing. 35. Connect the el ectrical connect ors. 36. Instal l the center bezel (2) and seat the four re taining clips (1) fully .
8 38. Posi tion the column co ver against th e reinforcement and route the bra ke release rod thr ough the hole in cover . 39. Seat t he upper ret aining clip s (1) fully and install the bottom and side screws (3) . 40. Connect the release rod (3) to th e release handle ( 1) and secure the attachment clip (2 ) fully .
9 CLUB CAB 42. Posit ion the cowl tri m panel (1) in t he vehicle with t he door sill scuf f plate end (2) of t he trim panel angled upward. Seat the upper outer end of the trim p anel underneath t he dash panel and en gage the retai ning tabs that se cure the trim pa nel to the cowl.
10 46. Using hand pressur e, push the retractor cover (1) downward over the r etractor (3) far enough to engage the two locator pi ns in the top of the inboard cover half with the locat or holes in the top of th e retractor . 47. Install the two plastic pu sh-pin retainers (2) that se- cure the retractor co ver to the retractor .
11 50. Alig n the retainin g tabs (2) on the rear door sill scuff plate (1) wi th the retai ning clips in the rear door sill and engage the ret aining tabs tha t secure the scuf f plate to the door sill. 51. Lower the dr iver's side rear seat . ALL 52.

3 5. Lower the glo ve box and relea se the hinge s (1) using at w i s t i n gm o t i o na n dr e m o v et h eg l o v eb o x . 6. If equipp ed, Using a trim stick C- 4755 or equiv ale nt remove the cu p holder asse mbly (1). Aug 08, 2008 K6860631 Rev .
4 7. Remove the two screws (2) and remove the bezel (1). 8. Disconnect the electri cal connectors and rem ove the bezel. 9. Install and secure th e Wi-Fi router under t he p assen- ger seat wit h the material s provided. 10. Cut a small slice in the carpet u nder the passen ger seat.
5 18. Place t he strands of the power si de wires overlappi ng each other inside of th e splice clip (1). 19. Using crim ping tool (1), Mopar® p/ n 05019912AA or equivalent , crimp the spli ce clip and wires toget her . 20. Repeat the previous two steps f or the ground s ide wires.
6 22. Center the heat shr ink tubing (2) over the solder joint and heat using a heat gun. Heat the joint until the tu b- ing is tightl y sealed and sealant (1) comes out of both ends of the tubin g. 23. Connect the ele ctrical connectors and inst all the bezel.
