Y our Gold GS60 The elegantly proportioned, three-way GS60 currently represents the state of Monitor Audio’s art. Its per formanc e really is “as close as it gets” to the ma ster recor ding.
Plinth Fixing. ( GS20 & 60 only ) With the cab inet up side-down (it w ill be this w ay s traight out of the bo x), caref ully plac e the plinth on the c abinet. The plinth i s cl early m arked w ith directions as to the orentation of the p linth - plea se see the illu stration below .
Spik ed Foot Fixing (Gold GS20, GS60 on ly) The c omposite Gold GS s piked foot incorpor ates a spik e f or use on c arpeted floors and also, a soft po lymer pad for u se on wooden or tiled floor s. The foot a ssembly is f ound in the pack ing end cap, and the spike in the Monitor Audio T ool Box.
Level ling y our Louds peak ers Car efully turn your louds peak ers over and pos ition them in your desired location s. T ake the n ylon wa sher and large loc king nut (found in the p ack ing end cap) (Fig. 4) and plac e the washer o ver the threaded body of the foot a ssembly , followed by the lock ing nut.
C onnecting Y our Gold GS Loudspe aker s Y ou wil l notice that when you u npac k your loudspe akers, there are plastic terminal caps in the terminals where the speaker cable connectors should go. These can be simply removed by placin g a thin, flat object underneath them and careful ly levering them free.
