1. INTRODUCTION Congratulations! Y our ne w M&K speaker system will giv e you y ears of unmatched enjo yment and e xcitement while listening to your f avorite musical and audio/video sources.
Attach the brac kets to the speak er using the enclosed 3/4" wood screws . Use the pilot holes at the top center of the back baffle of the cabinet. Either of the matching brackets can be attached to the speak er . The brack et that attaches to the speaker m ust point down, and the brac ket that attaches to the w all must point up .
There are a very wide variety of premium speaker cab les a vailab le from a number of specialist manuf acturers . W e do not endorse any specific brand of premium cab le, b ut we do recommend using as high quality a cab le as fits your b udget. Using better quality cables will improv e the sound of your Satellites .

6. HOME THEA TRE USA GE LEVEL-MA TCHING The f actor most critical to achieving e xcellent Home Theatre performance is lev el-matching the three front and two surround channels.
It is also pref erred that the speakers be equidistant from the listening position. Equidistant usually means that when the center speaker is on top of the tele vision, the left and r ight speak ers will sit in front of the set (they will be f ar ther from the wall behind the TV than the center speaker).
If the surrounds cannot be placed on a wall, try placement on tables or the floor to the sides of the main listening position, firing up towards the ceiling. This can work very well in environments that do not allo w permanent attachment of speakers to the walls .
Y ou can do this at the bac k of both Main speakers , or at the Subwoof er's TO SPEAKERS terminals, b ut nev er at both locations. The lead that was on the P ositiv e (+) ter minal should be s witched to the Negative (—) terminal, and vice versa.
