EN-12 Adjusting the position of the pr ojected image T o adjust the position of the projected image on the screen, use the LENS SHIFT button. 1. Pr ess the LENS SHIFT button. r The LENS SHIFT menu appears at the center of the scr een. 2. Pr ess the S , T , W or X button to move the image position.

EN-14 DVD player Video player Set-top box or digital tuner A. Connecting the projector to video equipment r When the projector and the connected devices are located t oo close to each other , the projected image may be aected by their interference .
EN-15 1. Connect one end of the optional video cable to the VIDEO IN terminal of the projector . 2. Connect the other end of the video cable to the video output terminal of the video equipment. r Also read the instruction manual of the equipment to be connected.
EN-16 Connecting to video equipment having a HDMI terminal Y ou can project high-qualit y images by connecting the HDMI IN terminal of this projector to video equipment having a HDMI output terminal. In addition, this projector supports HDCP and is able to receive encrypted digital video data that are output from DVD pla yers.
EN-17 B. Plugg ing in the power c ord r In order to ensure the saf ety in case of trouble with the projector , use an elec trical outlet having an earth leak age breaker to supply the pow er to the projector . If you do not have such outlet, ask your dealer to install it.

Change the setting according t o the type of the input video signal. : Signal size : Image area r Bold frames are rec ommended modes.
EN-21 How to change the settings: With the r emote control: 1. Pr ess the ASPEC T button. r The screen f or selecting the aspec t ratio appears. 2. Select your desired aspect ratio by pressing the ASPECT button. r The aspect mode is switched between Standard, F ull Screen, Anamorphic1 and Anamorphic2.

EN-43 This projector automatically and pr operly projects video signals supplied from the computer . Howev er , some video signals may not be projected, depending on the type of the computer . In such a case, Use the Aut o Position function to (See page 24.
EN-44 This projector is equipped with a lamp to pr oject images. This lamp is a consumable . It may burn out or its brightness may decrease during use. In such cases, r eplace the lamp with a new one as soon as possible. Be sur e to replace the lamp with a new lamp sold separately that is exclusiv e to this projector .
