GB - 12 T O STO P IN AN EMERGENCY Imme diately rel ease both control l evers to s top unit in an em ergency . S top engine, remove k ey and wai t for all r otating parts to stop befo re leavin g operator ’s position. ST ARTING AND SHUT OFF IMPORT ANT : Allow unit a nd engine to adjust to the out door temp e rat ure bef ore cleari ng sn ow .
GB - 13 Tip s for Operation Snow is best re moved as s oon as poss ible after snow fall. T o c lear an ar ea, run u nit in an o verlappin g series o f paths. For l arge areas, s tart in the midd le and throw snow to each side, s o snow is n ot cleared m ore than once.

GB - 16 For Replacement: 1. Align shear bolt holes in auger with s hear bolt hole s in the sha ft. 2. Drive sh ear bolt through h ole (if she ar bolt was brok en thi s wi ll dri v e rema ining par t fr om shaf t) . 3. Secure she ar bolt with n ut. NOTE: DO NOT overtig hten the sh ear bolt.
