66 Outline of the function This air conditioner can memorize the abnormal condition which has occurred once. Even though LED indication listed on the troubleshooting check table (1 1-3.) disappears, the memorized failure details can be recalled. This mode is very useful when the unit needs to be repaired for the abnormality which does not recur .

72 72 1 1-5. TROUBLESHOOTING FLOW Is the voltage balanced? Disconnect the connector between compressor and the intelligent power module (IPM)/ IGBT module (IC700)/ power module (IPM). 1. Replace the inverter P .C. board. Check the voltage between terminals.

75 I Check of outdoor fan motor Is the resistance of outdoor fan motor normal? (Refer to 1 1-4.) Replace the outdoor fan motor . Replace the inverter P .C. board. No Ye s Disconnect CN932 from the inverter P .C. board, and measure the resistance of the outdoor fan motor .
76 J Check of power supply Is there voltage 230 V AC between the indoor terminal block S1 and S2? No Ye s Replace the indoor electronic control P .C. board. Rectify indoor/outdoor connecting wire. Ye s If light up, OK. If fl ash, refer to 1 1-3. Does the upper lamp of OPERA TION INDICA TOR on the indoor unit light up? Does LED on the inverter P .
77 Press OPERA TE/ST OP (ON/OFF) button of the remote controller (the set temperature is displayed) with the remote controller headed towards the indoor unit. 1 Expansion valve operates in full-opening direction. OK NOTE : After check of LEV , do the undermentioned operations.
78 Check the outdoor fan motor . (Refer to 1 1-5. .) Is the fuse (F901) blown on the in- verter P .C. board? Check the connection of the connectors (CN931 , CN932) of the outdoor fan motor . If the connection is poor , make it correct. Operate the outdoor unit by starting EMERGENCY OPERA TION.
