2 ENCLOSURE AIR INLET ENCLOSURE AIR OUTLET • This air conditioner is NO T intended for use b y children or infirm persons without supervisions. When the air filter is to be removed, do not touch the metal part of the indoor unit. • This may cause an injury .
3 W ARNING • Consult your dealer f or installation of the air conditioner . Do not install the unit where flammable gas could leak. • If gas leaks and collects around the unit, it may cause an e xplosion. Earth the unit. • Do not connect the earth to a gas pipe, water pipe, lightning rod or the earth of a telephone.

5 Remote contr oller How to set the batteries and the current time 1 Remove the fr ont lid and inser t batteries. Then reattach the fr ont lid. Insert the minus pole of the batteries first. Check if the polarity of the batteries is correct. 2 Press the RESET button.
6 With the “ (I FEEL...) ” auto operation mode , the optimum r oom condition can be set automatically with a one-touch operation. T o star t operation: ■ Press the ON/OFF b utton. When the “ (I FEEL...) ” mode is selected, the air conditioner is automatically controlled at the optimum temper ature.
7 T o select the A UTO mode: 1 Press the ON/OFF button. 2 Select the (A UTO) mode b y pressing the MODE button. Each time this button is pressed, the operation mode is changed in sequence: (I FEEL...) → (A UTO) → (COOL) → (DR Y) → (HEA T) The set temperature is also display ed on the remote controller.

9 ECONO COOL OPERA TION Use this operation when you want to be comf or table in COOL mode e ven with energy saved. TIMER OPERA TION (ON/OFF TIMER) It is con venient to set the timer when you go to bed, when you get home, when y ou get up, etc. How to set the ON timer 1 Press the START button during operation.
