- 1 - INTRODUCTIONS The USB 10 /100M Fast Ethernet A dapter provides outside- the-box plug-and-p lay local area network connections for USB-enable d PCs, notebo oks a nd lapt ops. T his ada pter uses a B type USB port to connect with the USB host, and an RJ-45 port to connect with a 10/100 Fast Ethernet LAN link.

- 3 - INSTALLATION Precaution Before the in stallation, make sure t he USB port exists in your computer and is enabled. To check this, go to My Computer Æ Con tro l Panel Æ System . Ope n the Device Manager tab. If the Universal Serial Bus controller device is found, it mean s your USB port is in stalled and enabled.

- 8 - Adapter is found, it means that your d evice is properly in stalled and en abled. Installation for Windo w s 2000 1. Once the device is well connected to your computer, Windows 2000 will auto matically detect the new device. Click Ne xt to proceed.
