-3- BATTERY CHARGING Charge/Discharge Fully char ge the battery fo r the Net Visio n Data Ph one befo re firs t usin g the phone. A fully charg ed batte ry prov ides ap proximat ely 90 m inutes of talk time and 4 0 hours standby operati on per charge.

-6- Connecting to the n etwork The quali ty of com municatio n depends on ne twork radio receptio n. Large metal s tructures such as f iling cabine ts and other devices t hat radiate radio signals ca n affect rece ption. The ve rtical bar on t he left side of the disp lay shows yo u the str ength of the r adio signal at your pr esent locatio n.
-7- Shared vs. Personal Phones Your NetVis ion Dat a Phone i s configured to ope rate ei ther as a shared or p ersona phone. As a shared phone, the system adminis trator assigns each u ser a profile consisting of an ext ension nu mber, an optio nal username and a Per sonal Identificat ion Number (PIN).
-8- Logging on to a shared phone You must lo g on to a shared NetVis ion Data Ph one bef ore you ca n be gin using it. O btain an e xtensio n number or a user name and p assword (PIN) from the system administrator. To log on to a shared phone: 1. Press SND to turn on th e pho ne.

-10- Making a Call Extension and Outside Nu mber Dialing 1. Dial the exte nsion num ber - OR - for an external call, dial the code required to access an outsid e line (usually 9) and then the num ber. 2. Press SND . Dialing by Name This featu re (if avai lable) e nables yo u to call othe r extens ion user s by selecting their na mes from a menu.
-11- Intercom Ca ll ing This featu re allows you to sp eak to a group o f o ther NetVi sio n phon e use rs at the same time. Each user can bel ong to as many as 10 intercom groups. The system administrator man ages acce ss to the groups. You can only speak to one in tercom g roup at a time .
-12- Redial To redial any of the las t eight n umbers dialed : z Press RCL , and th en SND to dial the last call made or receiv ed. - OR - Press RCL repeate dly until the numb er or name of th e party you wan t to call appears in the displ ay, and t hen press SND .

-21- ACD Agent Log in / Log out ACD call s are di rect ed to log ged in Agent s only . As an A gent, you are assigned a 1 - to 7-dig it ident ification num ber to log i n with. To log in or out: 1. Press FCT . 2. Use the scroll keys (*<, >#) or the Vol buttons to sel ect AgntLogInOut .
