FEA TURES AND OPERA TING CONTROLS All operating controls are conveniently located on the amplif ier panel mounted on the rear of your subw oofer cabinet. FEA TURES Auto-On/Auto-Off Cir cuit Y our subwoof er is equipped with a special “ Auto-on/Auto-off ” circuit.
OPERA TING CONTROLS Subwoof er Lev el Control This rotar y control adjusts the output level of y our Mir age subwoofer and should be used to balance the level of the subw oofer with that on your main/satellite speakers. See “ Set-up Calibr ation ” .
W e ur ge you to experiment with var ious subwoof er placements in your listening room to find the position which produces “ deep and smooth ” perfor mance .
Using High Le vel Connections (see Diagram 1) On the rear of your Mirage subwoofer cabinet is a b lock designated “ High Level ” . This block contains tw o pair s of speaker ter minals. These should be connected to speaker output terminals of your amp.

SET UP CALIBRA TION For best results when setting up your system, assume your normal listening position and hav e another per son perfor m the follo wing adjustments: 1. Set the Subwoof er Level Contr ol to its zero position. Set the Subwoofer LP Filter Control to 50Hz.
NO TE: The Subwoofer Le vel Contr o l is designed to control the balance betw een your subw oofer and main/satellite speakers and should not be used as a substitute f or the bass or loudness controls on y our amplifier or receiv er . Adjust the subwoofer ’ s lev el for smoothest low frequency perf ormance .
