P ar ts Names and Functions 1. USB Cable: connects the USB LAN ISDN to the USB host port of your com puter . 2. USB Port: connects to the USB cable’ s square end. 3. LAN Port: connects to a LAN Cable. 4. ISDN Port: connects to an ISDN Cable. 5. Link Indicator: glows green when 10/100M Fast Ethernet is linked.
HARDWARE INST ALL A TION Installing the USB LAN ISDN Connecting the USB Cabling 1. Insert the USB cable’ s square end i nto the adapter ’ s USB port. 2. Insert the rectangula r end of t he USB cable into the USB host port on y our PC. Connecting to an ISDN Network 1.
SOFTWARE INST ALL A TION Windows 98SE Installation 1. Once the device is connected, wi ndows 98SE will automatically detect the device and appear the following figure. Click Next to continue. 2. Select Search fo r the be st drive r for y our device (Recommended) and click Next .
5. In ISDN Configuration, cli ck Next . 6. Select the switc h protocol that y our telephone com pany uses and click Next . 7. Enter the teleph one numbers that your ISP provided and click Next .
8. Clic k Finish . 9. Clic k Finish to continue the software installation. 10. W indows 98SE will automatically detect the device and a ppear the foll owing figure.
11. Select Search fo r the be st drive r for y our device (recommended) and cli ck Next. 12. Select Specify a location , direct W indows 98SE to the location where the driver stored (e.g. E: USB ) and click Next. W indows 98SE will search for the suitable driver for the software installation need .
14. The installatio n program will proceed automatically . Click Finish . 15. When Windows prompts you to restart your computer , click Ye s . 16. T o verify if y our network adapt er exists in your computer and w ell enabled, you can perform the following steps.

Windows 2000 Installation 1. Once the device i s connected, W indows 2000 will automatically detect the device and appear the fol lowing figure . Click Next to continue. 2. Select Search for a suitable driver for my device (Recommended) and click Next.
6. Clic k Finish to continue. 7. W indows 2000 will au tomatically detect the device and a ppear the foll owing figure. Click Next to continue. 8. Select Search for a suitable d river f or my device (recommended) and cli ck Next. 9. Select Specify a location and cli ck Next.

Windows ME Installation 1. Once the device is connected, W indows ME will automatically detect the device and appear th e following figure. Insert the device driv er into your CD-ROM drive, select Automatic sear ch for… and click Next. W indows ME will search for appropriate driver and copy necessa ry files onto your system .
