4 5 Selecting MODES Press the MODE button to display one of the fol- lowing: A verage T emperature (A VG) During a temperature reading, the average temperature read during the scan is displayed. Maximum T emperature (MAX) During a temperature reading, the highest temperature read during the scan is displayed.
6 7 Emissivity (E) Set the emissivity of the surface being scanned (0.95 is the default). During a temperature scan, the set emissivity value is displayed. Refer to an Emis- sivity T able for proper surface settings. Laser ON/OFF ( ) T urns the laser pointer on and off while the IR continues to take readings.
