4 5 OPERA TION ASSEMBL Y Symbology General Speci fi cations FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION Loading/Changing the Batteries Replace batteries when the Low Battery indicator is displayed. 1. T urn Rotary Dial to OFF and disconnect the test leads. 2 . Unscrew and remove battery door .
6 7 1. Set the Rotary Dial to position. 2 . Connect the red test lead to the V terminal and the black test lead to the COM termi- nal. 3 . Connect the red test lead to the positive (+) side and black test leads to the nega- tive (-) side of the circuit under test.

12 13 ASSEMBLAGE Charge et changement des piles Remplacer les piles lorsque l’indicateur de faible intensité des piles s’af fi che. 1. T ourner le cadran à la position « OFF » (Arrêt) et débrancher les fi ls d’essai. 2. Dévisser et retirer la porte du compartiment des piles.
14 15 DANGER Pour éviter une décharge électrique : Ne jamais prendre une mesure sur un circuit dont la tension est supérieure à 600 V c.a. Ne pas utiliser l’instrument si le couvercle des piles a été retiré. Garder les doigts éloignés des mâchoires lors de la prise de mesure.
16 17 DANGER Il est possible que la DÉL ne puisse s’af fi cher en raison des conditions d’installation du cir- cuit électrique ou de l’équipement. Ne jamais toucher le circuit mis à l’essai a fi n d’éviter tout danger , et ce, même si la DÉL d’af fi chage du pouvoir calori fi que inférieur (PCIS) n’est pas allumée.
18 19 PELIGRO Nunca efectúe una medición en un circuito que tenga un voltaje superior a una corr. alt. de 600 V. Use únicamente conductores con clasi fi cación de 600 V o más. No intente efectuar mediciones cuando haya gases in fl amables. De lo contrario, el uso del instrumento puede provocar chispas, y ocasionar una explosión.
20 21 Esta herramienta ha sido diseñada para funcionar con 2 baterías AA introducidas correctamente en los Medidores de pinza MILWAUKEE . No intente usarla con ningún otro voltaje o suministro de energía. Instale las baterías de acuerdo con los diagramas de polaridad (+ y –).
