Please note the following, in case unit is on LPG supply : Where this appliance i s installed in marine craft or in caravans, it shall not be used as a space heater .
W arnin g and Safety Instructio ns When cooking or boiling in large pots or pans, ensure that there is a minimum distance of 2" (50 mm) be- tween the pot and a heat-sensitive countert op. After combustion, the hot gases flow outwards under the base of the pot and may con sequently burn t he edge of the count ertop if it is too close.
W arnin g and Safety instructions When using a cook er hood over the gas co oktop, ens ure that any burn ers in use are always covered with a pan. Otherwise flames could be drawn up by the suction of the cooker hood, parts of which could then be damaged.
Burner Before using for the firs t time, take heed of the “Warning a nd Safety Instruct ions”. Burner control The inner and oute r burner are both controlled by one knob. The bur ner control knob may only be turned counter -clockwise and back in a clock wise direction.
Burner Press in the control knob and turn counter -clockwise to the hi gh setting (largest flame sy mbol). When the flam e ignite s, keep the button pressed in for 5-10 seconds, and then pr ess down o nce mo re firm ly before letting go. If the f lame goes out , repeat the proce- dure, keeping the c ontrol knob pressed in for a fe w extra se conds.
Burner Ensure that there is a minimum dis- tance of 5/8" (15 mm) between the wok or the pan and the control panel. Never pla ce a pan o n the cont rol panel. The outer par t o f the gas flame is much hotter tha n the center . Therefore the tips of the fl ame should be in contact with the base of th e pan and not spread out to the sides.
Cleaning and care In the even t of a pan boiling over , clean the bur ner and the cookto p surfa ce im- mediately , to prevent the boiled over substance from burnin g on. Burner The burn er can be dismantled for cleaning wh en cold. Burner caps The bur ner caps can be cleane d with a solution of dishwa shing l iquid.

T ur n off the gas main (if this ap- pliance has already been installed), turn off the electrical supply and pull out the plug.
]ö Conversio n to alternative type s of gas Changing the main jet, (does not apply to conv ersion to Natural Gas). Using a 10 and 13 mm wrench, loosen the main j ets from their h olders. Us e a 13 mm w rench to counter hold. Screw in the new main jet, once again using the wrench to coun terhold.
]ö Conversio n to alternative type s of gas Replacing the smal l jet for the lowest flame setti ng Remove scr ew d fr om fitting c using an 8 mm wrench and a 12 mm wrench to counterhold. Then remove the screw fitting c from b using a 12 mm wrench and a second 12 mm wrench to counter- hold.
]ö Conversio n to alternative type s of gas Import ant note: When reassembling, it is impor tant to ensure that the profile b of the control panel grips the appropriate moulding c on th e lower hou sing. @ä Conv ersion to alter native t ypes of gas The appliance is set up for natural gas (NG). When conv ert ing to alte rnat ive types of gas, the compone nts as listed be low have to be changed: Remarks Changes fo r LPG Propane: jets, adjustin g screws, regulator , Pro- pane label.

Using a 10 mm socket s panner , loosen the main j et from their holde rs, using a 13 mm spanner to count erhold. Screw in the new main jet, once again using the spanner to counterhold.
